Just read thru the changelog. And can't find any reference if the system settings>removable drives has been added back?
As was promised a few months back to be added back in 5.5.

I have two external usb ntfs drives I need to be auto-mounted at boot.
Have manully invoked the fix running kcmshell4 kcmkded and kcmshell4 device_automounter_kcm
to set them there. But there is a bug the devices will not automount in dolphin. Until I open a gtk app?
If I open Firefox or another app first then Dolphin then the external drives show mounted.

But reading through the changelog. I do not see if that feature has been added back?
As it was specifically stated that it would be in 5.5.

Any insights into the issue. Would be greatly appreciated.

Update: Been informed in the KDE sub-Reddit that indeed it's there. Just not mentioned.
