I have noticed an issue with the System Settings Add-On Installer is displaying a Network error (3). This is occurring on all add-on installers (i.e window decorations, cursor, desktop themes, and splash screen installers). I have noticed it with three DE's KaOS, Manjaro ,and now I'm running Mint 17 Quiana. I tried to find information on many different forums. Sorry if I'm double posting; but I cannot find any information.

Now I have experienced this with SolydK and Sabayon. Is this a KDE maintenance update or am I missing something or could this be a setting that I am missing. I am running an AMD Vision A8 with A Readon 5400 HD graphics card. 8gis ram and 1 TB HD. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

You've no line to the (configured) GHNS server, the defaults would be waypoint.kde.org, download.kde.org, api.opendesktop.org & opendesktop.org - so just try to ping them.

If you can reach them, I unfortunately don't know a better way to check the seververs that are queried on your side than invoking wireshark.
