I am sorry if this is a noob question, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
The thing is, I have a new 3TB drive and I was following this guide (1.0.60).... http://linuxbsdos.com/2011/05/24/gpt-di ... ra-2011-4/ ...but I don't get the option to choose between GPT or MBR when tried to create a new partition table. Given that it doesn't allow me to choose anything beside confirm or cancel, I guess that MBR is selected by default. Does that mean there is no such format support in this version and thus I should go for another tool to do the job? Or...in case GPT is indeed supported. How do I check before hand I am not using MBR? Thanks in advance. |
