I'd love some explanation of the use of KDE's USB Stick Formatter.
First, what is the actual program? The program interface/window doesn't have either an About or Help button, so I don't know what the program is. And it isn't listed at all in the KDE Help Center/manual; there isn't even a "u" entry in the alphabetical listing. Is there any manual/instructions for it? I can find no mention of it in the KDE Apps web site. What all can I do with it? Second, how do I install a modifiable, i.e., Live, iso onto a suitably large flash drive? Is that the same as installing the .iso on a hdd? |

the program would be /usr/bin/quickusbformatter, it's a small simple utility used to quickly format usb drives no idea if will do much else
if you want a livecd iso to be bootable on a usb UNetbootin (Google'ing will show others) - may have used UNetbootin once as it seems to be the more popular option |
