I upgraded to plasma 5 (5.5.1, KF 5.18.0) this weekend due to the EOL of kde 4. I have serious problems with kwallet:

* migration was not successful, but does not run again, (worked after reinstalling kdelibs4 and some other packages)
* migration happened, but in kwalletmanager5 only a few elements seem to really have been imported, namely for plasma 5/qt5 packages, but I guess this is to be expected in the sense that only data for connected applications can be imported. (showed up after restart)
* kde 4 applications can't seem to access kwallet (4) (how to check that it is running?) (they can, if it is running, but I have problems with that... but this is for another post)
* networkmanager stores its passwords somewhere, but apparently not in kwallet5's kwallet, as I don't see them in kwalletmanager5 (incorrect on my part)
* kwalletmanager (4) does not start: “unnamed app(14889): KUniqueApplication: Pipe closed unexpectedly.” (This is a more general problem.)
* Trojita does not store its passwords in kwallet (5) (But they are picked up once they're stored there, which happened thanks to migration.)
* Trojita's passwords are stored in kwallet5 (it is not clear whether they ended up there through migration or not), but they are not picked up by Trojita.

Actually, only the ownCloud client and Chromium seem to manage to use kwallet (5) as I expect it. (And: single sign-on works :-).)

Any help and pointers appreciated.
