Missing System Settings menu item

Thu May 12, 2016 4:29 pm
I am currently using Kubuntu 16.04 Xenial. I was looking for my system settings control panel today and noticed that it has disappeared. I cannot locate it anywhere in my menus. I searched my application menu, searched from the meanu search feature without any success. I gave up on my search and thought of coming here to ask for some help. I would need to know how to start the applet from the command line or, the package name for it so I can re-install it.

I ran into a package installation issue while installing Digikam 14.4 from a ppa in launchpad that actually worked out well to fix Digikam. I think this missing system settings menu item is a residual from that activity. Any help would be appreciated.

Curreint environment: Kubuntu 16.04 Xenial

Thank you much in advance!
