Does Kate have vertical-line guides for alignment?

First I love using Kate as my primary web development text editor. I have started to use it for C as well.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was a feature where you could turn on vertical lines.

When tabbing/spacing several nested lines, I can't guarantee vertical-alignment(technically indenting) between opening/closing tags.

Is there a vertical-line/grid that I can turn on to see if the opening/closing tags align?

Hello,

(Translated back from French, actual labels may be somewhat different)

Hello Louis,

Thank you for your response.

If this would result in showing grayed-out greater than signs, I already have that.

What I meant was vertical lines, running down the entire editor(type-able-area)

This would be messy I imagine, what I'm thinking about is similar if not exactly like in Microsoft word, where you can select the ruler-looking guidelines, and this creates a vertical line that cuts through the page, as a guide.

So regarding the line of interest, you'd click in front of the start of a particular indented line, turn the vertical-line feature on, and you'd see if the closing-tag lined up with the opening-tag.

Anyway, I imagine the answer to my question is no, they're not going to edit the program just for me.

I am still grateful for Kate.

Thank you for your response.
