Kgpg usage on different computers

Sun Jul 03, 2016 5:29 pm
Hello

I hope I'm in the right forum category. I have two installations of openSuse with KDE.

On my desktop computer I have created an pgp key with my email address. I mainly use it to store passwords in Kwallet.
Is it possible to use the same key with the same password on the other notebook installation of KDE?

I have a keypair containing private and public key. So what I have done is that I have exported the secret (private key) moved it to the other installation and imported it again. After typing in the password I should be good to go or do I miss something?

Because I got the message that no keys are imported and the right bottom corner of Kgpg says "0 keys".

Thank you very much for assistance
