Option to Remove or permanently disable the Clipboard?

Does anyone have any way to permanently remove or disable the clipboard that sits in the systray? There are options to "hide" it, and delete the contents, and I have found some work-arounds here and there. But none seem to do the trick. The work-arounds that have been tried still somehow log everything so if the clipboard is "un-hid", ect., everything magically pops right back in there.

I find links in there that I have sent to my roomate. Commands that I have entered into the terminal. Every thing I c/p or type into the terminal. Things I have put into pastebin, etc.

It also feels like it is a security risk of sorts.

Can someone please provide or make a way to first permanently disable the clipboard, and then remove it from the systray? Not just simply "hide" it?

Thank you.

So, I went to the Bug 352171 link. Followed the below instructions.

System Tray settings, sorry. Ie, right-click the arrow on the icons next to the clock, choose "System Tray Settings" and there's a list of "Additional Entries". Uncheck "Clipboard" and the applet will be removed (it won't just be hidden in the popup but not even loaded anymore).
