I use the KDE Plasma search to switch between windows. The Problem is, that it only put the window in foreground, but does not select it. That means when I switch to Vim, then I have to search for the window to put it in foreground and then click it before I can write.
Does someone experience the same problem? Did you solve it? (Version 5.5.5) |

At here the default is the 'Click To Focus'. Maybe you will want more 'Focus Follows Mouse' ? KDE System Settings > Window Management > Window Behavior Direct:

The switching worked in my previous KDE version. So it that ab bug? |

Okay, thanks i'll post there what I found out.
When setting the policy to Hover in "kcmshell5 kwinoptions" it works. But i do not like the hovering, so it does not fix my problem. |
