The Sync window date fields not working

This is in PCLinuxOS, fully updated and running KDE 5 Plasma and Krusader in non-root mode.
In Tools, Syncronize folders, under the Advanced tab there is a possiblility of selecting dates "Modified between". When i use the small calendar to select the two dates we get a small popup which says "Invalid date entered". i've tried various formats for the dates, but none of them seem to work. Have a great afternoon!
