Good morning.
I'm using KDE for 2 month, but I now have a problem.
First, PC used to consume just 0.48 GB of RAM after startup, without any running applications.
Now it use up to 0.75 GB, in the same conditions. So i looked at active processes, and I saw a lot of "akonadi" sessions, along with "mysqld". If i stop "akonadiserver", RAM drop down of 250MB.
So.. Why those akonadi start automatically, even if I do not start KMail, KAddressBook, KOrganizer, KJots and KAlarm? What can I do?

The digital clock in the panel uses Akonadi if you enable the option to show events from your calendars.

You did not specify which Plasma version you are using, but in KDE4 this option was turned on by default IIRC.
So right-click on the digital clock, choose "Digital Clock Settings" and disable the option "Show Events" (in "Calendar").

The other thing I can think of right now is KOrganizer's "Reminder Module" (korgac), that may be started on login and runs in the system tray.
It's probably hidden though, so click on the small up-arrow to find it,
You can disable autostart on login in the context menu that appears when you right-click on its icon.

I was using KDE 5. Just disabled korgac daemon on startup. Now is all perfect.
