I too had this happen. I tried a couple things. First deleting .kde/share/apps/kwallet then logging out and logging back in. This didnt prompt to set up the kwallet password upon login, but did ask that I put in the password for the kwallet wallet to connect to wifi, as well as when I open chrome. So... deleting the key & salt appears to not do anything. After this i tried to just disable the kwallet subsystem setting, but this unfortunately did something to my wifi, I can no longer detect any wifi even after re-enabling subsystems. I am new to kde, but if anyone can point me in the right direction I dont mind doing some digging to try to resolve this.
