Krusader Version 2.5.0 "Clear Skies"
KDE Frameworks 5.28.0
Qt 5.7.1
xcb window

On Debian Stretch I ran into problem setting up Krusader.
It refuses to enter tar.gz-files as directories, as well as any sftp://- or smb://-URLs

Looking at the preference-page I only see "krarc" + "iso" having some extensions mapped, but the right pane "protocols" is an empty list.

What am I doing wrong?

You're missing the package "kio-extras".

Cheers!

I have similar problem. Can't connect via fish:// nor sftp:// in krusader but can via Filezilla and Nemo. kio-extras is installed.

You are using Krusader 2.5/2.6?
"Tools->New net connection" does not show the procols?
Protocol files like
/usr/share/kservices5/fish.protocol

are installed?

And what is the error message?

Wow, I've just tried again and it works now. Not sure what changed though. I don't remember any upgrades regarding kde on debian stretch lately and I did not do anything myself. While it's mysterious, it has been fixed somehow. I did upgrade the server I connect to though.

It shown some non-informative error like "Could not connect to host" in fish case.
