Good afternoon to all, tried to submit this issue in Other KDE Software section with no answer, but maybe it was the wrong section, let me try here as well.
I recently discovered TrueOs (former PC-BSD), and installed it in a VMWare machine, it is well working enough. Desktop environment is Lumina, but I needed some KDE application working then I installed KDE-baseapps package from the official TrueOs repository, installation successful.
Konqueror (4.14.30) is giving a strange problem in web browsing only, if I write in the url window: http://www...whatever.. and then go, it answers with: "the operation requested cannot be completed, improperly formatted url" with a suggestion below: "the format of a url is generalli as follows: "protocol://user:password@www.example.org:port/folder....".
This happens as well if I've specifically choosen before from file menu "open location".
But then, browsing the web is still possible only if I set as home page a web url (like http://www.google.com), just as Konqueror starts. And it allows web browsing only by link clicking, while if I try myself writing the url in the location window again it stops with the above specific error message.
Setting issue?
Thanks for your help
