Hello, nice to meet you all!
I am using KDE Neon as my alternative operating system. I am running a per-core overclock (OC) : x48 x49 x49 x50 In System Monitor, I have added a sensor called "Average Clock Frequency". This is stuck at 4000 MHz, it never changes. When I use my all-core x47 overclock, this Sensor displays the Average Frequency correctly. When I am running my per-core OC it does not. Thinking that it might have to do with my OC settings, I've loaded Optimized Defaults. Exactly the same thing is happening: the Average Clock Frequency is stuck at 4000 MHz. Any ideas? Here is a screenshot showing the issue and also (some) information about my system. https://ibb.co/b0x2ia Thank you. PS: I have another inquiry, as well. In the screenshot, at the bottom, you see "fan2" and "fan1". Is there any way to rename these labels? |

Hello again
This stuck "Average Clock Frequency" in System Monitor is (most probably) a bug in kernel 4.13 and 4.13-1. As soon as I returned to kernel 4.12-something, it started to work again. It is sad that no one has given any reply, here. |
