Why does Powerdevil hard depend on Network Manager?

This means to have a GUI to set when my screen goes sleep, I have to have a bunch of WiFi stuff installed on a desktop PC that doesn't have WiFi and has absolutely no need for Network Manager.

NM should be an optional dependency, not a hard one. Is there any good reason for hard dependency?

P.s.: I'm on Arch. I don't know if it's different on other repos.
