Okay, it's been a few months since I've gotten in KDE Neon and it's awesome. I'm still quite the linux noob so please forgive my ignorance. I don't have much space on my SSD for KDE so I'd like to delete these huge log files which have turned up. After reading on ubuntu forums, I realized these are abnormal sizes for logs, more than 6 gigs. It's called kern.log (6.3GB) and kern.log.1(1.4GB).
Is it safe to delete them? Or shall I just try the solution on https://askubuntu.com/questions/515146/very-large-log-files-what-should-i-do? This forum thread also says to solve these errors instead of just emptying the log files. I didn't want to ask in Ubuntu forums so I came here. Also when I shutdown my laptop, I get a bunch of errors (a lot of PCIe bus errors) in a terminal-like fullscreen window. I tried and this is the result I got.

I solved the problem by first clearing the log files with >kern.log and the same for other large log files. Then I updated my grub file with pci=nomsi (tried adding pcie_aspm=off and problem went away, but I didn't want to mess with the power saving features for my laptop so went for pci=nomsi; if anyone encounters this issue, you could try adding pci=noaer too and see if it help) and ran dmesg to check for errors. Everything seemed fine. Took for a few days but I got there. But I have to say, I expected a little help at least from the forum but nothing came by.
