Hello,

baloo-kf5 5.46.0-0

After some time results will be shown dopple and tripple... at search. Deleted files will no always be deleted from the database and if i do an "balooctl check" the number of files in the database will be also doubles. Strange.

The difference is that my datas are not on lokal machine. They are on an nfs-server. Here is my filestructure.

# my local home
/home/user
# my home on the nfs-server
/home/daten_nfs-server/user
# Some other directories on the NFS-Server. /home/daten_nfs-server is the mountpoint. Documents, Music, Videos are also on the nfs-server, but not in the homedirectory, there are only symlinks. This symlinks are local on the machine, and also on the home on the server. Is this an problem for baloo? In older versions that has not done anything yet.

Here are my balooconfig:
Code: Select all
[Basic Settings]
Indexing-Enabled=true

[General]
dbVersion=2
exclude filters=*.elc,CMakeFiles,core-dumps,.bzr,Makefile.am,*.swap,*~,*.pyc,.hg,*.vm*,*.part,confdefs.h,qrc_*.cpp,*.pc,.git,cmake_install.cmake,.histfile.*,.moc,*.aux,*.orig,.obj,.svn,_darcs,*.rcore,.xsession-errors*,*.lo,CMakeCache.txt,config.status,*.m4,CMakeTmp,__pycache__,*.tmp,moc_*.cpp,.pch,lzo,conftest,autom4te,ui_*.h,*.la,confstat,*.moc,libtool,CVS,*.omf,*.loT,*.rej,po,*.gmo,lost+found,*.class,*.nvram,.uic,CTestTestfile.cmake,*.po,CMakeTmpQmake,*.o,*.csproj
exclude filters version=2
exclude folders[$e]=/vdr-aufnahmen/
first run=false
folders[$e]=/home/daten_nfs-server/Dokumente/,/home/daten_nfs-server/Movies02/,/home/daten_nfs-server/Musik/,/home/daten_nfs-server/Videos-Filme/,/home/daten_nfs-server/iso-images/,/home/daten_nfs-server/bilderarchiv/,/home/daten_nfs-server/Entwicklung/Schriftarten/,/home/user/Nextcloud-extern/,/home/user/Nextcloud/,/home/user/workplaceLOCAL-noindex/bin/,/home/daten_nfs-server/user
only basic indexing=false

I also have deleted everything from baloo and done the first indexing again. But same result ;(

Hopefully someone can help me :) ;D

Thanks!

Hi, why don't you disable Baloo from the system settings?. Is not helpful. Give a try, you can come back later.
