KRunner command line output

Fri Oct 19, 2018 6:57 pm
Hello,
is it possible to let KRunner display command line output?
For example, if I write in KRunner
ls ~
and press enter, nothing happens. It would be great to have some output from that command.

Same issue is if I try
vim somefile

nothing happens. It would be nice to have a bash created launched with the command.
Trying
bash ls
or
bash vim
does nothing

Most of the time, running commands from krunner is expected to be fire-and-forget, so you wouldn't necessarily want to go popping open a terminal every time you run any just custom command. However, I agree that could be nice sometimes; so a straight-forward way to indicate that you want to open a terminal or at least capture the stdout (to a file, to the copy buffer, wherever) would be appreciated.
