Pressure sensitivity faulty

Mon Oct 29, 2018 3:58 am
hi it's me again. I was having a problem earlier where krita wouldn't stop extending random lines from what I was drawing. after a lot of tips I ended up updating my mac to mojave and reinstalling the driver of my huion tablet and thankfully, that seemed to fix the line problem as the tablet tester is no longer making random lines. however, now it seems krita isn't detecting the pressure of my pen.
I tested the pen pressure on the huion driver and it works perfectly, which I assume means my tablet is detecting it. but krita doesn't seem to be. last time this happened I had to unplug everything and set up again and that fixed it, but when i tried this time nothing changed .

I tried deleting and reinstalling krita, and now the pressure spike is too extreme. reeeally tiny when I go light and immediately too big when I press harder. again, the tester on the huion driver is working perfectly. it seems like the krita just might not be sensitive enough because I have to press really hard to see any mark.
I just need to get it to match the sensitivity of my tablet, because the pressure test feels perfect
