Hullo (o:
I am an old nerd and programmer, know my way around a command line, not new to Linux altogether, last time I ran KDE was in the early aughts though. Running Neon as a main OS for the first time. I just bought a fairly nice system* with a really nice 4k screen to run Neon on, and am really loving the Neon UI (o: I run KDE at 1.8 scale factor, set through the UI setting, and am well pleased with this. I am having trouble with a few apps though, and infer that these are apps made for Gnome - specifically Sublime Text, Steam and Telegram, where some or all of the UI is really tiny. Telegram has a really tiny mouse pointer as well, something that doesn't happen in the other two. I have tried setting the gnome scaling using various bash commands found via google, but nothing seems to have any effect, at all. I am hoping I am just not finding the right command or control to set this correctly? Please advice (o: Also, I hope this is the right board to ask about this in, apologies in advance if I am wrong. /Lars. --- *) In case it matters, AMD 2400G, ASUS ROG STRIX B450-I GAMING, 32GB 3200MHz, 500GB NVME, Dell P2415Q. |
