Hello,

I am completely new to Linux and have just installed Manjaro KDE to my T480s. However I have run into a problem.
Everytime I startup my laptop (Suspend/Hibernate/Restart) I get a message from kde wallet service saying that " The application 'kded5' has requested to open the wallet 'kdewallet'. " and then asking for a password.
I have tried my admin/root/login password but that doesn't seem to work, and I don't know what password it could be.

I tried to delete the file

 /home/<user name>/.kde/share/apps/kwallet/kdewallet.kwl

in order to delete the wallet, but I can't find it.

Do you have any suggestions?

As I said I am completely new to linux so I would appreciate step by step solutions, if necessary.

You can configure the KDE wallet service in System Settings -> Account Details.
There you can enable/disable the wallet service completely or reconfigure it as necessary.

If you are interested in using the KDE Wallet service to store your login credentials for you you might create a new wallet using the New... button in the Automatic Wallet Selection section and then set that one up as the new default.
To clean up the old wallet, hit Launch Wallet Manager and then in that window select the unwanted wallet and select File -> Delete Wallet. From this window you may also change the password and review stored credentials. You can also go directly to this tool by launching the KWalletManager app.
