You might repost this over in the Ubuntu forums where you will likely get more appropriate feedback and assistance.

That said, apt stores the lists of repositories in the file /etc/apt/sources.list and the files under /etc/apt/sources.list.d/. Most of those complaints are about things declared both on line 52 of /etc/apt/sources.list as well as on line 4 of /etc/apt/sources.list.d/vivaldi.list.
The last item mentions that something is wrong with the pdfchain-team ppa. I'd suggest double-checking that that PPA still provides packages for bionic.

thanks for the fast response, very much appreciated. i went into synaptic and removed everything for both vivaldi-stable and vivaldi-snapshot and selected reinstallation for both. and then was only left with the pdfchain error. i went back in to repositories and removed pdfchain since i was just test it, hit reload and no errors. thanks again.

EDIT:

i have to ask if peeps are just going to point others over to the ubuntu forums then why even base this on ubuntu?

Maybe posting in the KDE Neon subforum could avoid this? In case you have difficulties finding it: viewforum.php?f=309

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

AGAIN. i have to ask if peeps are just going to point others over to the ubuntu forums then why even base this on ubuntu? as for avoiding the thread not being answered and or being pointed to the ubuntu forums we BOTH know no matter where where the thread was posted here that stunt would of been pulled.

I did NOT point you to the Ubuntu forum at all, but to the KDE Neon subforum here, where the people who make the Neon packages are the most qualified to answer

i think you had better learn to read my post above about the ubuntu foroms was to you. second if you thought this was better suited in the neon section then YOU should of moved it, and simply let me know you thought it fit better there. the rest of the C.R.A.P. was unnecessary.

While directing someone to a different user-based support channel than the current one can seem rude, it is usually well-intentioned. It is a good idea to keep those other places in mind as very useful resources to take advantage of, especially if there are not many responses to a problem that is not related to Plasma and Neon-specific packaging. There simply are not that many here on KDE's forum that have much knowledge of the underhood workings of an Ubuntu system, and those of us that do have some experience with it are not always around.

If this project were based on another distro, the same situations would as they are now, just with a different distro's forums as the suggested destination.

Personally, I would suggest Kubuntu's forums as an option, as they we don't care at all what distro one uses. Ubuntu's sometimes have members that don't like supporting non-official variants. But I won't if it is going to offend you, though in that case I would not offer any help at all, to be honest.
