Hi,
i'm trying to get the best of Ksystemlog app but while i'm checking the system log, everything is in red while i remove all blue, green etc... message (only warning and error message should be displayed). However even successful action log is listed in red... Can someone explain it to me why successful action entry log is in red in kSystemLog ? thx

Interesting, this indeed happens in the System Log window, not in the journal log. On the other hand, if you check the other colours and uncheck the red ones, nothing is displayed at all, meaning the system log only displays errors. Might be on purpose, but doesn't make much sense if the system log is prefiltered.
I suggest you make a bug report, but looking at the bug database there is not much happening in terms of development, might be the maintainer is AWOL
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

i like this app as i'm not very "good friend" with journalctl or dmesg
![]() the filter in KSystemLog is clearly not working well. At least this isue forced me to dig into journalctl and dmesg and to learn it a little bit ![]()
