A simple text viewer?

Fri Apr 17, 2020 10:31 am
Is there any KDE application that will simply show the contents of a text file in a window on the desktop? What I'm after would have the following properties:

1. It loads the full text (doesn't have to show it all)
2. You can select and copy it
3. It automatically reloads when the underlying file changes

Kwrite is sort of OKish, but I have to click a button; only a small thing, but there you are - if I can get rid of that, it's one less thing to annoy me. I work on a project where I generate text files with another program and want to copy/paste them.

Thanks for your reply, dontdieych. You are right, this is what I want, more or less; however I am on Linux and this is a windows program. (I assumed that KDE would imply Linux, but perhaps not any more?)
