I am running Manajro Linux Lysia release 20.0 with kate Version 20.04.0.

I want to make kate spellcheck comments in my LaTeX file. The closest I have come across in a web search is to do the opposite here:

I want to turn the spellchecker on for comments in kate.

I cannot locate a latex.xml file for kate on my system either.

Please advise how to proceed.
