I have issues with my ntfs usb device (related to the bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=76380).
I would like to change the automount options (especially the permissions). I know that I could change the file /etc/fstab, but I don't want to create issues with it (my first attempt stopped my computer to boot without the usb plugged in...). And I know from Ksystemlog that ntfs-3g is called with some specific options when the usb is mounted. I don't see any ways to change these options in the KDE settings, and I don't know where they are written. Also I'm not sure that I can use them as it is in the fstab file. I am using KDE Plasma with Manjaro. It's a recent installation, with default settings for this. Can I have a little help on what's going on behind the hood ? That is what software do the automount, what are the config used, and so on ? Thanks in advance. Also I'm not sure I posted this topic in the right section of the forum, sorry for that. |
