Greetings, I have a suggestion for an enhancement to Kate.

In Notepad++ on Windoze, there is the option to have a standard and custom folder for backup files (either those that have been saved or those that have been modified, but not saved). This is a feature that it sorely lacking in Kate. I have lost a lot of data over the years while working in Kate because it doesn't have that feature.

I request that the developer(s) of Kate consider adding such a feature.
