Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum. I'm a windows developer (for my sins) and I have not done much linux or unix development (gnu/etc) for many years.
I really like this craft tool that setups and build all dependencies. I'm trying to build openldap. craft does this nicely out of the box but I have a problem.
I cannot seem to get this to build anything other than just the openldap tools. What we really need is slapd, or code I can modify which represents an openldap server. If its not a windows service that I can modify to suit our needs. We need to be able to build source, modify, ideally in a VS solution such that we can rebuild easily.

I've tried for many hours to send flags and try and get craft to build this. I've tried so many different flags/pythons changes/ini file changes that I've lost count!
Could anyone please tell me how to configure craft to send through the flags to have craft build slapd. Should --enable-slapd be sufficient? I cannot call ./configure directly on my windows system.
This would be greatly appreciated.

I mean it, it really would!

Thanks,
Martyn

https://community.kde.org/Craft is the only information I know of, did you read this?

Moving this post to the correct subforum...

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Thank you for responding. We have reviewed this page times to no avail but the main developer has kindly been in touch too.
