Hey, I am using a fairly old lenovo laptop, (7th gen core i3, 4 gb ram, Win 10 home). Can any one suggest me a good PC clean up or utility app which can make the system run at least a little smoother. There is a lot of delay, especially in opening apps and folder, which to be honest, was not there before. And No, I cannot format the computer . Any help is welcome. Thanks

The behavior that you describe can be a tell-tale sign of impending hard disk failure. Given the age of the device, this may be a real possibility. I would check that first.

If your drive is not the issue, look at what is auto-starting when you login. You may have some unnecessary applications auto-starting and consuming needed resources. Also, some anti-virus applications can be more invasive and resource hungry than others. There may be lighter options available.
