Hello everyone,

Guys, my laptop just got updated to kde plasma 5.21. I was then looking for the new system monitor but I cant find it.
I am guessing I am doing something wrong or missing a step or something. I can see ksysguard, but it looks exactly as in version 5.20.

Please, can anybody help me to figure out what is wrong?

Thank you.

Since this is a new app, are you sure it is installed?

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Thanks for your replay,

Actually no, I am not sure whether is installed it or not.
I was reading the following page;

https://kde.org/announcements/plasma/5/5.21.0/

There it said that the new "system monitor", is now an integral part of Plasma.

And then I am confused, why I can not find it. How can I check if it is installed or not?

Thanks for your help

Search for 'system' or 'system monitor' in the Kmenu. It is called 'plasma-systemmonitor'

Thank you a lot for your replies,

I ended up reinstalling the whole system. No only because this issue. I had setup a dual boot and I dont need windows for now (you never know what can happen in the future) so long story short, I rebuilt the system. Now every thing is perfect.

Thank you
