I am using Kate Version 20.12.2. I pressed CTRL + SHIFT + L & CTRL + SHIFT + T few times. But after I finished my task, I am unable to close the split view . Can anyone please tell me how can I close the split view?

Go on the split you want to close, right click and type Ctrl+Shift+R.
(checking the View Menu -> Split View would have given you the solution as well...)
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

The question is solved now, thanks a lot for your answer. But I want to ask something from what you replied: "Go on the split you want to close, right click and type Ctrl+Shift+R. (checking the View Menu -> Split View would have given you the solution as well...) Running Kubuntu 21.04 with Plasma 5.22.5, Frameworks 5.86.0, Qt 5.15.2, kernel 5.11.0-35 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11 FWIW: it is always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... " Where can I find the exact Plasma version (+ distribution)? |

You can always see the exact details of your system in the System Settings -> System Administration -> System Information.
The content can be easily copied to Clipboard and pasted wherever you need it
