hello!

I can see two types of log messages, in terms of preposition, from the backtraces generated by Drkonqi

e.g.,
#4 0xb589a54c in QHostInfoAgent::run (this=0x92cb370) at kernel/qhostinfo.cpp:241
#1 0xb57fcb95 in pthread_cond_wait@@GLIBC_2.3.2 () from /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0

whats the difference between "at" and "from"?

thanks

"At" means a specific location in code, the file and line number is at the end of it so you can locate the particular method.
"From" means it is a signal generated by a library.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
