How to stop filesystem browser in Kate from navigating after clicking on a file?

I wanted to change the behavior of the file system browser in Kate to reflects similarly to Visual Studio Code with how file explorer behaves, rather than changing the current directory of filesystem browser to whatever directory the clicked file is at, I wanted to keep the filesystem browser in the same directory I specify without navigating (under project directory, rather than going into test/, src/, include/, or any other directories.)

How do I change this behavior?

Please and thank you

Hello! You can disable option "Automatically synchronize with current document". This setting is in the menu, see the far right button in the File System Browser toolbar.
