No Output and Input Devices Found

I have recently installed kde neon on acer laptop
and I have been encountering a problem regarding audio
It's an error of "No Output and Input Devices Found"

I have tried all the possible methods and solutions out there
But found none working
But help me to find the solution to this problem with the help of your fantabulous knowledge and experience

I had a similar problem with another piece of hardware. My strong suspicion is that the problem isn't the KDE desktop. It has something to do with your config file. The speakers are probably in DVI mode by default, which doesn't allow for audio.

What fixed it for me is I had to comment in the following to my config.txt file: hdmi_driver=2

Now I'm on a raspberry pi 4, but I think the issue is the same. You have to force HDMI audio output, because I think by default your speakers are in DVI mode.

Facing the same issue here, I have tried removing and reinstalling everything but I can't make the audio work - any update?
