Dear friends

I am using Kubuntu 22.04 / KDE frameworks 5.92.0 / Plasma 5.24.4 / Qt 5.15.3. I use Brave browser installed as a snap.

I am trying to install Skanpage from this URL:
https://apps.kde.org/en-gb/skanpage/

but when i click "install on linux" (and then "open xdg-open" on the browser pop-up) it opens Discover for me, but Discover gives this error:

"Could not open appstream://org.kde.skanpage because it was not found in any available software repositories. Please report..."

I feel sure this is a simple Discover setting or something - any help please?

This is because there is no package for it in Kubuntu's repos, or via PPA, at this time. I don't see any Snap or Flatpacks made for it, either.
It is still quite new.
KDE neon iirc only added it fairly recently.

**EDIT**
There is a flatpak.
You may need to add the kde flatpak repo
