I've finally got Krusader running on my Macbook via Macports -- and it works fine so far, except I can't position the directory tree into a sidebar. When I briefly used Linux about 15 years ago, I recall having trouble finding how to do this. The Krusader Handbook instructs me to use the "rotation button," but I can find no such button on either the left or right side. Is it possible to move the tree into sidebar position using the Krusader command line? Any help will be appreciated.
Krusader version: 2.4.0-beta3 (I'd upload a screenshot, but having trouble getting the img tag to work with a "file:///" URL.) |

If you mean this, it's the button in the sidebar toolbar.https://imgur.com/a/0qjxTQq

Can't see or find that button anywhere; nor any mention anywhere in the program of a sidebar toolbar. This is what the program looks like:

Myeah, you'll have to look if there's a shortcut to rotate the sidebar. From what I can tell, you're in a dual pane mode and both panes have the sidebar at the bottom. Like so:https://imgur.com/a/eje4uLG. As far as I know, there is no default shortcut to rotate, only to toggle. Maybe you could change layouts in the settings, but other than that...I'm afraid I can't help you. I'd try changing layouts in settings.

The side bar button is only available in Krusader versions >= 2.6.
Version 2.4 is almost 10 years old (see https://krusader.org/get-krusader/relea ... index.html), it doesn't have a lot of features. |
