Hello,
I think the title says the issue for the most part, I can't open font files on KDE Plasma with Ubuntu 20.04 base. Neither .ttf nor .otf files can be opened, giving me an error: “Could not read font.”. The thumbnails for font files are also not generated in Dolphin. Note that all of these font files are fine and do work either in applications (LibreOffice, etc.) or as a User Interface font.
I can't troubleshoot this problem beyond what I explained, though. Why might this be happening, and how can I find more information and (hopefully) a solution?
Any ideas or help is appreciated
