I once set my machine to use a proxy via Plasma system settings, but even though I have disabled it and set it to “No Proxy”, those settings seem to persist somewhere: When trying to upgrade packages in Discover, I get an error saying it can't connect to the proxy address I had set earlier, which is because packagekit is still set to use that proxy.
This is a serious problem for me, since I really prefer to use Discover and not something else. How do I change this behavior, perhaps by modifying the config file that contains those proxy settings or a command?
I am not very technical when it comes to the command line and background system configurations, so please help if you know any fixes or workarounds.
By the way, my distribution is Ubuntu (Jammy) based, KDE Neon. Plasma version is also 5.26.4
