Hi,
I'm using the latest version of KDE Neon. I was looking for Cantata music player because I used it a lot with other distros, so I did a search in Discover but Cantata package was not showed. So I did it the same search with Muon and Cantata was available there and I installed using Muon. I think Discover is a great tool but since this issue I guess I'll use Muon instead it because it seems Discover is not discovering all the available packages. Is this a normal/usual behavior? Or should I fix something? Thank you very much in advance, Luis Pablo |

Muon is a package manager, so it shows *everything*, including non-software packages, and the three kitchen sinks.
Discover is an app store. So it won't show individual packages. So, in theory, it should be showing Cantata, for sure. However, it relies on the packages to have certain metadata files so that they appear. Not all do, but this likely is more from how Ubuntu imports a lot of its less popular packages directly from Debian. Something get lost, maybe. I think this happens on Gnome Software too, sometimes. it also can be a bug in Discover, as well, of course.
