Not a critical problem, but I would like to find out how to fix this.

My KDE user manager previously had my domain account in it and I was able to set myself as an administrator and everything worked seamlessly. I had to reinstall, and now my domain account does not show up. I don't remember if I did anything special that could have made it work before. I have attempted (unsuccessfully) several times to get SDDM to display my account. Although I can log in, it always reverts back to just the local accounts in the list and I have to manually enter my username. I have adjusted the max ID in the SDDM config up above what my UID is shown to be by the id command.

I am using SSSD to connect to my domain. It is using ID mapping.

I have been searching the internet and forums and have not been able to find any information about how to configure the user manager or how it gets its user data. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.
