This forum is a place to host ideas for the next iterations of the KDE Workspaces. Notice that it doesn't mean necessarily "KDE 5", but any version after the current one.

To post a new idea, simply create a new post. Enclose the design as an image or graphic, using [img] tags, and a thumbnail will be automatically displayed on the forum index. There is a limit of 720 pixels in width: height is unlimited. Please post images in the highest resolution possible, and avoid thumbnails.

The forum does not offer the possibility of hosting images at the moment: use any of the free image services online, such as Image Shack or equivalents and use the URL they supply in the [img] tag.

Notice that this is strictly related to Workspace: for any other type of idea, use the the Brainstorm.

With that said, let your ideas flow!

Can you give an example for the [img] tag in order to update my post?

With some image hosting services, you're given a thumbnail, e.g.
Code: Select all
[url=http://link.to.full.size][img]http://link.to.thumbnail[/img][/url]

Most services I know give you this BBCode after you've uploaded the image. You can also just link to the image, but generally it's nicer when they're inline. :)

Excuse me, but can anyone tell me how long is going to be live this forum? is there any deadline?
I want to make a video to explain my idea about workareas and activities and it's going to take some weeks...
