Missing hide menu/tab options  Topic is solved

Sat Aug 11, 2012 5:53 pm
I noticed with the recent upgrade to KDE 4.9, Konsole 2.9. the "hide menu" and "hide tabs" options have been removed from the "edit current profile" settings. There is a "Show menubar" toggle on the settings menu but that is only temporal. What is the proper way to hide the menu bar and tabs in Konsole 2.9?

Edit:
Well, it seems I was too hasty in my assessment. The options have not been removed, only moved below to "configure konsole" instead. Feel free to delete.

Yes, w/ Konsole 2.9 there is now a 'Configure Konsole' menu item where app-wide settings are stored.

Is there a reason why you would not have a referral from the old location to the new, improved, much better place to put something? Sometimes, we do not consider it "fun" to have to spend a half hour Googling to figure out that someone somewhere decided to improve things and leave no bread crumbs behind.
