hi all
I often close my konsole tab by click closeTab by mistake, so I want to remove or disable this menu item in popup menu.
I'm using fedora 17+ kde 4.9.5 and RHEL+kde 3.5.4.
Thanks

This is possible, although you will need to use a text editor - and the instructions may only work for the KDE 4.x Konsole.

First, you need to determine your local prefix. This can be done by running 'kde4-config --localprefix'. In this directory (which is ~/.kde4/ here) make sure share/apps/konsole exists - creating it if it does not (my final path would be ~/.kde4/share/apps/konsole).

Next, find 'sessionui.rc', which should be at /usr/share/apps/konsole/ (although Fedora/RHEL may have relocated that to /usr/share/kde4/apps/konsole/) and copy it to the previously found share/apps/konsole/ folder.

Finally, open the copied sessionui.rc file in a text editor, and find and delete this line:
Code: Select all
<Action name="close-session" group="session-tab-operations"/>

After saving and restarting all running Konsole instances, the "Close Tab" entry should be gone.
