Change window width with screen

Mon Sep 09, 2013 12:02 pm
Hi,

I have the following problem resizing a window with screen

Code: Select all
^a:width 100
Your termcap does not specify how to change the terminal's width to 100.

If I recall correctly, Konsole automatically resizes the terminal size to match the size of your screen, so it likely does not support changing it's own size at the request of the terminal.

I use

Code: Select all
width -d 300

The -w option tells screen to leave the display size unchanged and just set the window size, -d vice versa.
