remove shift-left/right arrow in one profile but not all

I use emacs org mode a lot, and one of the things coded in there is the use of shift left/right arrow in the scheduler.

Normally in konsole that is used to move to next/previous tab. Which is fine except in the few times I want to use the scheduler!

It looks like a lot of work to change it in emacs, ideally I'd like to change it in one profile only, not globally for KDE.

I tried editing the keyboard bindings in the profile settings by removing left-shift+ansi+AppCursorKeys but that didn't work.

Is there a way to have shift-left and shift-right passed to whatever is running in console in one profile but not others? So it works as expected except in special cases?

As far as I can tell, Konsole supports setting it's keyboard shortcuts on a global basis (ie. for all profiles) only. While setting global shortcuts can be partially scripted, setting application level shortcuts cannot be unfortunately, preventing this limitation from being worked around.

You can change the shortcuts which Konsole will claim in Settings > Configure Shortcuts.

I suspected that... be a nice thing to change shortcuts on a per profile basis.

So it's either find something emacs doesn't use or back to xterm!

If finding a replacement shortcut key is difficult, you can also disable individual shortcuts I believe, through the same Configure Shortcut system.

I really don't want to remove it as I use it a lot on many machines, and I don't use schedule mode in emacs much at all. So just have to fire up an xterm when I need to schedule something.
