Where can I find information on dbus commands supported by Konsole?
I didn't find anything neither at https://konsole.kde.org/ nor at https://userbase.kde.org/Konsole.
Btw, link to 'Konsole Handbook' at https://userbase.kde.org/Konsole is broken (404).

DBus has an inspection function, just run
Code: Select all
qdbus org.kde.konsole

Thanks, I will try it out. However this should not be an excuse for lack of documentation... :/

I don't see the particular advantage of a static documentation above a live-query of the interface, but feel free to write one.

An obstacle here might be that the complete interface is built from various source, notably konsolepart and KMainWindow in the actual case, but also input or style plugins etc. etc. add objects (and methods) there.

Notice, though, that while I cannot speak for konsole in particular, the dbus interface is usually NOT considered a granted API, ie. it rather won't change for no reason, but if there's a reason, objects, methods and even the interface might get renamed, added or removed at anytime - silently.
