Configure Konsole from a script

Sun Sep 06, 2015 8:11 am
Quite often I need to configure my Konsole after a fresh install. It's quite tedious to do it manually, so I'm trying to do it via a script.

The only way I found is to store .kde/share/apps/konsole folder next to the script and linking ~/.kde/share/apps/konsole to it.

Questions:
1. Is it safe to do? Does Konsole stores any run-time session-related info which could work wrongly on another installation?
2. Will it work correctly with newer versions of Konsole?
3. If not, how to store universal information about my configuration (shortcuts, fonts) which could be applied to any future Konsole version?

Thanks.
