So, I've been trying this for the past several hours today, and a couple hours yesterday, still no luck.
My sdcard "shows up" when I insert it, gives me the option to mount, but cannot mount. So I decided to update/install the sdcard reader driver (lsusb shows the card reader, but not the sd card inside it, so I figure it's a driver issue) Downloaded the driver from the Realtek website into my Downloads folder. Here's my terminal output, for some reason I can't get it to configure, make, or make install at all. NO idea what I'm doing wrong. root@HotBox:/home/blake# tar -xzf 0001-Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07.zip tar (child): 0001-Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07.zip: Cannot open: No such file or directory tar (child): Error is not recoverable: exiting now tar: Child returned status 2 tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now root@HotBox:/home/blake# cd /home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229 root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# ./configure bash: ./configure: No such file or directory root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# make bash: make: command not found root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# make install bash: make: command not found root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# cd root@HotBox:~# cd /home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229 root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# ./configure bash: ./configure: No such file or directory root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# cd root@HotBox:~# cd /rts5229 bash: cd: /rts5229: No such file or directory root@HotBox:~# pwd /root root@HotBox:~# cd /home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229 root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# ./configure bash: ./configure: No such file or directory root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# ./configure /home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229 bash: ./configure: No such file or directory root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# make bash: make: command not found root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# pwd /home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229 root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# make bash: make: command not found root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# make install bash: make: command not found root@HotBox:/home/blake/Downloads/Realtek_RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07/rts5229# modprobe modprobe: ERROR: missing parameters.
